A High Standard: Master Plumbing Company
A Master plumber company is formed of plumbers who have passed the rigorous process of becoming a Master plumber. These plumbers are the overseers of the Master plumbing companies, although it is not altogether true that the entire company is necessarily composed of Master plumbers. Master plumbers are certified to be able to oversee other, less qualified plumbers and apprentices, so a Master plumbing company will have Master plumbers in charge, but lesser plumbers and apprentices working underneath their supervision on various projects.
Master Plumber Certification
Master plumber certification begins with Master plumbing school. These schools are offered in a traditional classroom setting, but they are also now offered in the form of online classrooms, which gives plumbing students increased flexibility with their work schedules. These plumbing schools offer classes that build groundwork for the plumber as he gains experience in the plumbing profession.
Industrial math classes are important to the plumber as he has to make calculations in regards to fixing problems as well as laying out the plans for complex sanitation or ventilation systems. Chemistry classes inform plumbers about the different chemicals they might encounter in the field and how to handle those chemicals safely and properly. It also helps them determine what materials the pipes need to be made of in regard to the types of liquids and gasses that might need to flow through them, so that the pipe holds up over time and does not leak.
In addition to these core classes, the plumber also takes blueprint reading courses and mechanical drawing so that he can read schematics and also draw plumbing systems of his own as he gains more experience. Other classes include woodworking and electronics, so that he can fix holes in the walls and other modifications that take place during the course of fixing problems with plumbing.
Plumbers in a Master plumbing company have to go through approximately five years of apprenticeship before they are able to take the Master plumbing licensing exam. During their training in the field, they learn about all the materials such as pipes and fittings, as well as the hand a power tools needed to modify them to fit the specific projects. In addition, they learn to problem solve and trouble shoot more efficiently so that time and materials are not wasted. They also learn to fix appliances such as air and heating units, dish washers and clothes washers, as well as installing toilets, bathtubs, sinks and other conveniences.
