While the small mounting block of the clamp is set on the pipe, one has to select the appropriate side, taking the diameter of the pipe into account. The clamp has to be fitted over the pipe and the mounting block and the nut at the base has to be tightened.

The red end of the tube can then be placed in a receptacle, like a bucket. The copper pipe has to be pierced by fully turning the T-bar handle down in the clockwise direction. Following that the housing bracket of the filter has to be mounted on to the cabinet, at a suitable location, making use of the screws supplied. Following that, the filter’s cartridge has to be installed into its housing. The cartridge may simply have to be placed appropriately into the housing or to be screwed in. Once that is done, the filter housing has to be re-assembled and mounted on the bracket.

The drinking water tap or faucet for the under the counter water filter then has to be installed by drilling a hole in the sink or worktop, at a suitable location. Once the tap and its tubing is in place, the red tube in the bucket can then be connected to the filter housing’s input side. The under the counter water filter’s housing’s output side can be connected to the blue tube from the tap. Water can flow to the tap, through the filter housing, where it flows in to from the red tube, once the saddle valve’s T-bar is turned anti-clockwise.
